Today (January 23) marks the birth anniversary of Nayak Raj Razzak. On this occasion, The Daily Star spoke to three leading actresses—Babita, Suchanda and Rozina—who once shared the screen with him and witnessed his brilliance up close.

Ilias Javed, who enjoyed a distinguished career spanning more than five decades as a popular film actor and accomplished dance director, passed away on Wednesday after a prolonged battle with cancer. His death was confirmed by his wife, actress Dolly Chowdhury.
