Bangladeshi-American artiste Sanjoy joins FIFA World Cup 2026 album
Bangladeshi-American DJ and music artiste Sanjoy has been selected as an official artiste for the 2026 FIFA World Cup album and is also set to perform at the tournament’s opening ceremony, the musician announced in a Facebook post.
Sharing the news, Sanjoy reflected on his journey growing up between cultures and pursuing music with the dream of reaching a global audience.
“Today, I’m proud to share that I’m an official artist on the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album,” he wrote.

The artiste described the achievement as a milestone not only for himself but also for young dreamers striving to overcome limitations and pursue ambitious goals.
Sanjoy also revealed that fans will soon hear “SIIR SIIR”, his collaboration with Nora Fatehi and Vegedream, which will feature on the album.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 album will also include contributions from internationally renowned artistes such as “The Rolling Stones”, “Shakira”, “Daddy Yankee”, “Burna Boy”, and “Rema”.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. FIFA has already finalised a roster of performers for the opening ceremonies across the three host nations, with Sanjoy among the selected artistes. He is expected to perform alongside global stars including Katy Perry and Lisa of BLACKPINK.
Born in Srimangal and raised in Chattogram before moving to the United States, Sanjoy has often credited his multicultural upbringing for shaping his musical identity. Music also runs in his family, with both his mother and grandmother having been involved in music.
