“Shekor” continues the filmmaker’s thematic exploration of migration, displacement, and identity crisis. The narrative focuses on international migration and the emotional complexities of identity formation that arise from it. It follows the journey of a man who returns to Bangladesh after 12 years abroad, accompanied by his eight-year-old son. The child, raised in a foreign environment, experiences his father’s homeland for the first time, discovering its culture, people, and emotional landscape through a fresh and unfamiliar perspective.

Those associated with the project are optimistic that this stylistic parting will resonate with audiences. With Mahtim Shakib’s vocals, Sahriar Rafat’s composition, and Hashibur Reza Kallol’s lyrics, the song is expected to offer listeners a fresh and compelling musical experience upon its release.
