Glam Nails
It is not just the face that needs to look good for a good impression, the hands and feet are equally important. One way you can have gorgeous hands and feet is by grooming and taking care of your nails.

Something new something SaRa
There's simply no shortage of fashion outlets when you suddenly get that itch to shop, and for most, those are just enough. But what if you wanted something to make you look and feel different from the crowd?

Nail care norms for summer
We spend a great deal of time and money behind taking care of our skin; doing everything we can to treat it the best way possible. Most of the time, however, we tend to overlook our nails, which are often the most neglected part of our body.

The Reincarnation of Jute
Bengal's reputation of being a monopoly in the production of jute preceded it back in the day, but the industry is not what it used to be in the 20th century. Facing challenges in the forms of productive inefficiency, and struggling to keep up with rising global demands, the once-golden industry is slowly losing its lustre.

Jute as a lifestyle product
Modern fashion and living are ascending the steps to embrace the senses, while providing the people with a platform of expression. The issue of sustainability and eco-friendliness are now highlighted more than ever; fashion and living too are now addressing these concerns.

How to appear stinking rich and successful
Appearances can be deceiving. Which incidentally is the mantra for social media success. If your Facebook doesn't have a hundred likes on each phase of your hairstyle change, you have failed. Life is rather simple like that. That blue thumbs up is all you need to be successful. Monks, Brad Pitt and Batman have spent years meditating on mountain tops. All that work done just to attain the much desired dose of social media likes.

G. Sumdany Don's Guide to Success
Driving home past midnight were Ghulam Sumdany Don and his wife. They were returning to their Bashundhara residence after dropping one of their friends off at the airport. When Chocolate is actually good for you!
A prime example of the negative relation between chocolate and stress is that, most people like to indulge themselves in a chocolate or two or maybe five whenever they feel pressured or stressed.

Chocolate – a gift from above
Oh the sweet love that is chocolate. How much we love this heavenly concoction. Ever wonder where it all began though? The best way to go about that is to start by who had that first taste of it, and that honour goes to the first European explorer Hernán Cortés, who was given a cup of 'xocoatl' by Montezuma, the Aztec emperor. The Aztecs considered the drink so glorious that it was served in golden goblets to only members of the imperial family. However, it was a far cry from the comforting frothy drink we now know, because back then, it was bitter, and served cold.

An everlasting grace
In modern day television and cinema, the idea of individualism is almost becoming non-existent. The same thick brows, dull stare and heavily contoured cheeks on everyone are proving to be rather monotonous. At times like these, one cannot help but be nostalgic about the fashion icons who dominated the silver screen with their unique fashion statements, eternal grace and irreplaceable charm and poise. Be it the Golden age of Hollywood, ultimate bohemian chic or sweetness personified in a pair of lively eyes — all of these beauty divas were poetry in motion, having something uniquely dazzling to offer and still remain etched in our hearts.

Pickle nation
Pickles aren't just an integral part of a traditional Bengali cuisine. It's part of even those evening hangouts in the balcony where one would directly dip their fingers into the jar of newly-made mango or olive pickles. While the Bengali love for pickles is one that knows no bounds, time and space constraints in the busy city-life can make it quite difficult for urbanites to satisfy their pickle cravings. And that is where Pickle Nation comes in.

Ramadan calling!
Fasting is an essential part of faith in innumerable religions spread across the world. Yet, the fundamental difference between fasting in Islam and other beliefs is that the one prescribed in the sacred book of Islam ensures that although abstinence is there, the permitted period of food consumption guarantees that there is no real chance of malnutrition or inadequate calorie intake.

The hunt for the Best Ties
How many times has it happened that the crisp dimple on your tie disappeared minutes after masterfully forming it under your tie knot, making it look like a flat one dimensional plane? How many times have you cried over the seam at the back of your tie ripping off weeks after you've bought it? Why can't you get rid of that crease on your tie even though you have ironed it so many times already that you've lost count? That's probably because you haven't been purchasing your neckties from the right stores; stores which will make sure that your money is spent well.
