Renowned Ekushey Padak recipient and Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra artiste Shujeo Shyam is in critical condition. He has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of a government hospital in Dhaka, with plans to transfer him to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) soon.

Bollywood actress Dia Mirza will serve as a jury member for the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF), set to run from November 22 to December 8.

Indian veteran actor Atul Parchure, widely recognised for his remarkable work in both Marathi and Hindi cinema, has passed away at the age of 57, as reported by The Indian Express.

The exhibition title, “Matir Manush” (which means "people of the soil"), is a term used to describe humble, down-to-earth individuals. Fittingly, the tepa dolls often depict our people, birds, and animals.

Of the seven songs, four are by Lalon himself, with one each from legendary mystic soulsters Shah Abdul Karim, Radharaman Dutta, and Bijoy Sarkar. In the album the vocals are performed by Lalon’s lead singer Nigar Sultana Sumi, while Thein Han Maung, the band’s drummer and leader, is responsible for the musical arrangements.
