Berger Paints, Tropical Homes partner to provide solutions for landmark projects

Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tropical Homes Limited, a Dhaka-based real estate company, to provide coating and construction materials solutions for some of the country’s tallest buildings.

Under the MoU, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited (BPBL) and Berger Fosroc Limited (BFL) will supply coating and construction materials solutions for TA Tower, a 45-storey commercial building, as well as Tropical Homes’ upcoming and ongoing residential and commercial projects, ensuring world-class quality, durability and long-term performance.

Md Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, chief operating officer and director of Berger Paints Bangladesh, and Sheikh Rabiul Haque, managing director of Tropical Homes, signed the MoU at the real estate company’s corporate office in Dhaka, according to a press release.

Speaking at the event, Mohsin Habib reaffirmed Berger Paints’ commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for landmark developments across the country.

“We are proud to partner with Tropical Homes Ltd on TA Tower, a project that will become a defining landmark in Bangladesh. At Berger, we remain committed to providing world-class coating solutions that combine aesthetics, protection and long-term performance to meet the evolving needs of modern construction,” he said.

The partnership marks another significant milestone in Bangladesh’s construction and real estate industry, bringing together two leading organisations with a shared vision of quality, innovation and sustainable development, the release added.

AKM Sadeque Nawaj, chief business officer of the paint company; Shabbir Ahmad, general sales manager for corporate sales and service; Asadur Rahman, head of corporate sales; Mohammad Humayun Kabir, area manager for corporate sales; Rabath Hossain, territory manager for corporate sales, attended the event;

Among others, Tanveer Reza, chairman of the real estate company; Md Nurul Huda, deputy managing director; Brig Gen (retd) Md Wahidul Islam Talukder, executive director; Fahad Al Rahman Shuhash, deputy general manager for purchase, procurement and logistics; and Md Rajib Khandoker, assistant general manager (construction), were also present at the signing ceremony.
