“Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka”, starring Shakib Khan, is set to release in Italy, becoming the latest among this year’s Eid films to reach international audiences.

Shakib Khan’s upcoming film “Rockstar” continues to build anticipation, with the release of its second poster on Thursday evening. The film, which explores the rise and fall of a rockstar, features Sabila Nur opposite Shakib in a romantic setting.

Cinema hall owners have demanded compensation from the producer of “Prince”, alleging losses after the Shakib Khan-starrer failed to meet expectations and could not be screened on Eid day due to technical issues.

Despite its shortcomings, the actor expressed gratitude towards audiences for their continued support. Observing the film’s performance from Malaysia, he said that although “Prince” initially struggled to secure screenings, the situation improved.

However, it was a single moment that quickly caught public attention—a frame featuring Shakib Khan with director Raihan Rafi and actor Chanchal Chowdhury. The trio, who previously collaborated on “Toofan”, were seen sharing a warm exchange, embracing and celebrating their recent successes.
