GM Quader tests positive for Covid-19

Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader has tested positive for Covid-19.

GM Quader had no symptom of Covid-19, Khandaker Delwar Jalali, JP chief's press secretary-2, said in a press release today.

The JP chairman has been receiving treatment staying at home, Jalali said, adding GM Quader is doing well now.

As part of mandatory test for Covid-19 before attending in the parliament's new year session that began this afternoon, GM Quader went through the test on January 15 and tested positive, the release added.
