The Covid-19 cases appear to have stabilised in Delhi, which is one of the worst-hit regions during the current Omicron-powered third wave.

The city would soon see a decline in the trajectory of the disease, reports our New Delhi correspondent quoting Delhi's Health Minister Satyendar Jain.

"It seems the Covid situation in Delhi has stabilised and soon we will see a decline," Jain told reporters today when asked if the current wave has peaked.

He said if Covid cases come down in two-three days, existing restrictions will be lifted.

According to Jain, Delhi is likely to see around 25,000 cases today.

Pointing out that Covid-19 cases have started coming down in Mumbai, Jain said "we will soon see the same trend in Delhi."
