Covid-19 infection rate: Dhaka, Rangamati in ‘Red Zone’

Dhaka and Rangamati have been identified as "Red Zones", considering the rate of Covid-19 infection, according to data on the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) website.

Covid-19 infection rate in the capital is 12.90 percent and in Rangamati it's 10 percent.

Rajshahi, Natore, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Jashore and Dinajpur have been identified as "Yellow Zones".

The zones were identified after analysing infection rate from January 3 to 9. Besides, 54 districts of the country have been placed in "Green Zone", the data showed.

Covid-19 sample collection was very low in Panchagarh and Bandarban districts.
