Chief Justice tests positive for Covid-19, admitted to BSMMU

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique tested positive for Covid-19 and is undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) at present.

He was admitted to the hospital last night, BSMMU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed told The Daily Star this afternoon.

The chief justice is doing well, the BSMMU VC said, adding that his condition is stable and there are no complications.

Earlier, the chief justice's wife Dalia Feroz was admitted to the same hospital with coronavirus.
