A new documentary series centred on the life of Princess Diana is in development, with producers promising an intimate portrait told largely in her own voice.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has introduced a significant set of new and revised rules for the 99th Oscars, scheduled for 2027, reflecting updated standards on eligibility, creative authorship, and international inclusion.

Each director has a different approach, and that’s what keeps things interesting. This story of ‘Suraiya’ is quite layered, but for now, I can’t reveal much about it just yet.”

Renowned singer Runa Laila has been honoured with the “Minar-E-Dilli” Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to music at the 15th Delhi International Film Festival, held in Delhi, India.
