The Göteborg International Film Festival, which starts on January 24, will feature "Saba" in its Voices section, a category dedicated to honouring the works of emerging filmmakers.

Titled “Rickshaw Artistry: A World Heritage”, the exhibition highlights vibrant, hand-painted posters of superhit films, including the legendary action movie “Shodor Ghater Kuli”, which starred renowned Dhallywood actor Rubel and was directed by Raqibul Alam Raqib.

On the heels of a remarkable start to Hollywood's awards season with the 2025 Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards has officially announced its list of nominations for this year.

The book he authored has been titled after one of his popular songs ”Hok Kolorob”, and will be published by Legend Publication. The cover has been illustrated by Arnob's father, artist Swapan Chowdhury.

A fire broke out late Monday (January 6) night on the 11th floor of the 13-story Sky Pan building in Andheri’s Oberoi Complex, a residential tower known to house singer Udit Narayan. The fire broke out around 10pm in the B wing of the high-rise, while Narayan’s residence is located in the adjacent A wing.

The incident occurred after the two fans, Arava Manikanta and Thokada Charan from Gaigolupadu in Kakinada, left the promotional event in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday night. As they were returning home, their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. They were rushed to a nearby hospital but were declared dead by doctors on arrival.
