Daffodil International School holds Graduation Ceremony 2025–26

Daffodil International School (DIS), Uttara, organised its Graduation Ceremony 2025–26 on September 5, 2026, bringing together nearly 1,000 students, parents, teachers and distinguished guests to celebrate students’ academic achievements, leadership, creativity and personal growth.

The ceremony was opened by Nazah Salawat, Principal, International School Dhaka, and it was graced by distinguished guests from the education sector, led by Dr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Group, alongside Mahir Ali Khan Ratul, Co-Chairman, Rupayan Group; Founder Principal Shahana Khan; Zunayed Ahmed, Managing Director & Head of Market, British Council Bangladesh; Shahin Reza, Country Director, OxfordAQA, Bangladesh & Nepal; Abdullah Al Mamun Liton, Regional Development Manager, Bangladesh & Nepal, Pearson Edexcel; and Syed Fahim Faisal, Account Manager, British Council Bangladesh. Senior representatives of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, including Sarwat Reza, Country Lead, and Juliet G Gomes, Academic Advisor, were also present.

The ceremony was held in two sessions. The first marked DIS’s recognition as a “Registered Cambridge Early Years Centre” and celebrated the graduation of Early Years students. The session featured the unveiling of the Early Years Centre certificate and a panel discussion. The second celebrated the graduation of Primary, Secondary, and Advanced levels. Both sessions included student activity highlights, achievement recognition, awards, graduation walk, and cultural performances.

A special highlight of the ceremony was an interactive session conducted by Dr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Group, with the students. He engaged with the students, shared valuable insights, and encouraged them to pursue excellence, develop leadership qualities, and remain committed to their goals. He also particularly encouraged the head boy and head girl, inspiring them to lead with responsibility, integrity and confidence.

Another major highlight was the presentation of various awards and certificates by the distinguished guests. Prefect Badges, Graduation Certificates, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Certificates, Volunteer Certificates, Cambridge Learner Attributes Badges, Checkpoint, IGCSE, and International A Level (IAL) High Achievers Certificates were presented to deserving students in recognition of their academic excellence, leadership, service, personal development and outstanding achievements.

A Cambridge registration panel also provided parents and members of the school community with an opportunity to engage with representatives involved in international education and assessment, further strengthening the school’s commitment to global educational standards and pathways.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming Daffodil International School’s commitment to international-standard education and its mission to nurture confident, capable, and globally minded learners. The occasion celebrated not only the achievements of the graduating students but also their journey of growth, leadership, and excellence, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their educational journey.
