Food Talk hosts ‘All About Steaks’ workshop
Food Talk recently hosted “All About Steaks”, an engaging hands-on workshop in collaboration with Bengal Meat, bringing together 20 food enthusiasts from diverse walks of life — from business professionals and working individuals to young food lovers aged 12 and above.
The workshop is part of Food Talk’s ongoing mission to encourage food appreciation, culinary knowledge and a deeper understanding of quality ingredients in Bangladesh. The event follows a series of successful workshops covering sushi at Hiroshi Ramen, French cuisine at C Paris, and pizza and tiramisu at C House Milano.
Bengal Meat, recognised for its focus on quality and variety, has played an important role in making premium-quality beef and steaks more accessible to consumers across Dhaka. For the workshop, Joseph, a trained chef and industry veteran, led participants through the fundamentals of steak preparation, while Hares supported the event on behalf of Bengal Meat.
Participants explored the finer details of preparing the perfect steak — from understanding different levels of doneness to mastering timing, temperature management and the techniques that can make all the difference between a good steak and a great one.
The workshop once again reflected Food Talk’s commitment to creating accessible, engaging experiences that bring people closer to food and the craft behind it.
