The minister is visiting the UAE to attend the Global Business Summit in Dubai.

Six RT-PCR labs have been set up at the airport in Dhaka recently to carry out rapid PCR tests on departing passengers. Each test costs Tk 1,600.

Addressing the meeting yesterday, Imran Ahmad said migrant workers are the "remittance warriors" of Bangladesh. And their contribution to the country's economy is immense.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, who is also visiting the UAE, attended the views exchange as the special guest. The event was chaired by Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammed Abu Zafar.
