13 die from Covid in a day

Thirteen people died from Covid-19 and 368 others tested positive for the virus in 24 hours till 8:00am yesterday, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With this, the total number of Covid deaths in the country rose to 29,077 and the total number of cases went up to 19,46,737.

The current daily positivity rate is 2.11 percent and the overall positivity rate is 14.41 percent. The mortality rate now stands at 1.49 percent.

A total of 17,463 samples were tested in laboratories across the country in the 24-hour period.
