Following a strong opening week, “Bonolota Express” continues to perform well in cinemas, with a significant increase in show counts in its second week. The film has now overtaken Redoan Rony’s “Domm”, which had been leading in terms of screenings.

According to Star Cineplex, from April 1, “Bonolota Express” will have 29 shows across its eight branches. In contrast, the number of shows for “Domm” has decreased to 19 in its second week.

“Rakkhosh” currently holds the third position, with 13 shows across six branches. “Pressure Cooker” follows with nine shows in five branches, while “Prince” ranks last with seven shows across six branches.

Director Tanim Noor said the audience response has been overwhelming. “Viewers are coming in groups with friends and family. This is truly encouraging for us,” he said.

The film is set to release internationally from April 3 in 52 theatres across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom—10 in Canada, 38 in the US, and four in the UK.

Inspired by Humayun Ahmed’s novel “Kichhukkhon”, the film revolves around a train journey and explores the layered lives of its passengers. The cast includes Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Sariful Razz, Sabila Nur and Azmeri Haque Badhan, among others.
