First look at ‘Wednesday’ Season 3 shows Jenna Ortega in Paris
Netflix has unveiled the first look of the third season of “Wednesday”, featuring Jenna Ortega’s titular character in Paris.
Released on Monday (April 20), the image shows Wednesday Addams standing in front of the Eiffel Tower alongside Thing, portrayed by Victor Dorobantu, perched atop a motorcycle. The streaming platform captioned the post, “From Paris, with dread.”
Filming for the upcoming season is currently underway near Dublin. According to the official logline, the new season follows “smart, sarcastic and a little dead inside, Wednesday Addams” as she investigates twisted mysteries while navigating friendships and rivalries at Nevermore Academy.
Season 3 is expected to continue from the previous instalment’s ending, where Wednesday sets out with Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) to track down Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers), who has transformed into an alpha werewolf.
Earlier this month, Netflix confirmed that Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy and James Lance have joined the series as guest stars. They will appear alongside Eva Green, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan and Kennedy Moyer.
Returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams. Other regulars reprising their roles are Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, Billie Piper, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Joanna Lumley and Victor Dorobantu.
A release date for the third season has not yet been announced.
