Muhammed Badrul Haque, new administrator of Baira

His four-month tenure begins on April 28

The government has appointed Muhammed Badrul Haque, a joint secretary at the commerce ministry, as the new administrator of the Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (Baira).

The tenure of the current administrator ends on April 27, and Haque, appointed for four months, will assume charge the following day.

The appointment aims to ensure continuity of the organisation’s activities and proper operation under the statutory framework, the commerce ministry said in a statement.

The administrator will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the organisation and arrange a fair and acceptable election, it added.

Upon completion of the election, he will hand over responsibilities to the elected committee and inform the commerce ministry accordingly.
