Floods maroon thousands in Ctg, Cox’s Bazar, Bandarban

Incessant rains, tidal surges, and upstream water from hills have inundated large areas of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Bandarban. Parts of Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway have gone under water, snapping communications between the port city and Cox's Bazar. People in the affected areas are facing an acute shortage of drinking water.
