Club Notredamians Bangladesh hosts Badminton Tournament

Club Notredamian Bangladesh Ltd successfully organised its flagship Badminton Tournament today, bringing together alumni and members.

The event, held at the premier Bashundhara Sports City near the Purbachal 300-feet road, was sponsored by NRB Bank and supported by the Notre Dame College Batch of 2002.

The tournament featured 56 skilled athletes competing in 28 teams under a doubles format. After a series of intense matches that showcased exceptional sportsmanship, the duo of Mohammad Abu Nader Al Mukkaddes and Mohammad Mamunur Rashid (both from the ’94 Batch) emerged as the Champions.

The Runners-up title was secured by the formidable pair of Mohammad Sadikur Rahman (’96 Batch) and Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Ontu (’97 Batch).

The event was officially inaugurated at 11:00am by the Club’s President, Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Md Towfiqul Alam Chowdhury, head of branch banking at NRB Bank, alongside Abu Saleh Md Sayem, EC Sports.
