Justice Farah Mahbub appointed BJSC chairman

Justice Farah Mahbub, a judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, has been appointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission.

The law ministry issued a gazette notification to this effect today, saying President Mohammed Shahabuddin gave the appointment.

The BJSC is tasked with selecting candidates for the posts of lower court judges by holding necessary examinations.
