The Battle of the Roses
I find it very disconcerting
When my battlefield
Is strewn with roses
I would just as soon
Condemn my roses
As accuse my florist Of being a fundamentalist
As some have treated God
Come nakedly armed
If you must
But please don't give my roses
A bad name
