Abducted girl still untraced
Police have failed to rescue a 13-year old school student even 21 days after her abduction.
Daughter of Shah Newaj of village Ganeshpur in Kaliganj upazila, she was abducted from her grandfather's house at Shanka village on May 28.
The victim's father filed a case with Kaliganj thana accusing three people -- Farooque Hossain, 32, Mostafizur Rahman, 34, and Shahidul Islam, 30, of village Ganeshpur -- the next day.
The complainant alleged that the accused used to stalk his daughter, a class eight student of Ratanpur TN High School, on way to school.
