Repurpose an old sari

Everyone has their favourite collection of Kanjivarams, Baluchori silk, taant and Jamdani saris at home. No matter how much you like it, you cannot wear it all the time. There is also the additional dilemma of not being able to store saris, over a longer period of time; as 'time' usually damages the material.

There is also the issue of trends, fashion, and dying styles. Your mother might have been very comfortable in a sari but you probably like fusion wear or western wear, what can you do in such a case? Do you store the precious piece in your wardrobe forever? And face the relentless fight against time?

No! Of course not, there are many other ways to wear it. These possible style-adaptations can actually be a 'chic' fashion approach to the New Year.
