The entitlements of the workers relating to wages
A general definition of wages can be inferred from the Bangladesh Labour Act (BLA) 2006 as all remuneration payable to a worker in respect of his employment or of work done in such employment. Chapter X of BLA lays down the provisions regarding payment of wages to workers.
