Measles death toll rises to 38 as one more dies: DGHS
Two more suspected measles deaths reported in same period
One more confirmed measles death has been reported in 24 hours (till 8:00am today), taking up the number of total confirmed deaths to 38.
The deaths were reported from Dhaka division, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Besides, the directorate recorded two more suspected deaths in the same period, taking the total number of suspected deaths to 185. Of the deaths, one each was reported from Barishal and Sylhet divisions.
During this time, 188 confirmed cases have been reported, taking the number of confirmed cases to 3,805.
Besides, DGHS recorded 1,159 suspected cases in 24 hours, taking the number of suspected cases to 25,935.
