‘Tagar’ set for OTT release on iScreen

After its theatrical run during last Eid-ul-Azha, the action-romance film “Tagar” is now heading to OTT. The movie, starring Ador Azad and Puja Chery, will begin streaming on iScreen, one of Bangladesh’s leading digital platforms.

Directed by Alok Hasan, “Tagar” features Ador Azad, who rose to fame through Channel i’s Imami Fair Handsome competition and later made his mark with films such as Talash, Local and Lipstick. Paired opposite him is Puja Chery, forming a popular on-screen duo.

iScreen authorities confirmed that viewers will be able to stream “Tagar” from 3:00pm on Thursday, January 29.

The film blends romance and action with themes of love, struggle, complicated relationships, life’s conflicts, politics and revenge—elements that were hinted at in its teaser and trailer. Alongside Ador Azad and Puja Chery, the cast includes Suman Anwar, Azad Abul Kalam and Rosey Siddique in key roles.

With its OTT release, “Tagar” is expected to reach a wider audience beyond cinemas, adding another notable title to iScreen’s growing catalogue.
