‘Bonolota Express’ crosses Tk 1 crore in four days

Following its Eid release, “Bonolota Express” has drawn strong audience turnout, performing steadily at cinemas across the country.

Directed by Tanim Noor, the star-studded film is currently screening at Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster, and Lion Cinemas, where it has received a positive response from viewers.

According to the production company, the film has crossed Tk 1 crore in ticket sales within just four days of release. Of this, Tk 85 lakh came from all branches of Star Cineplex, while Blockbuster Cinemas and Lion Cinemas collectively contributed over Tk 15 lakh.

The film’s earnings have shown consistent growth since its opening. On its first day, “Bonolota Express” collected Tk 18.54 lakh, followed by Tk 22.26 lakh on the second day and Tk 28.89 lakh on the third day, reflecting a steady upward trend at the box office.

Inspired by Humayun Ahmed’s novel “Kichhukkhon”, the film revolves around a train journey and explores the diverse lives and stories of its passengers.
