Rupankar Bagchi, Joy Shahriar release joint album

Popular singers Rupankar Bagchi and Joy Shahriar have released a joint album titled “Gaaner Pothe Dekha”, featuring eight songs composed by Shahriar.

Released under the banner of Aajob Records, the album features four songs performed by Bagchi and four by Shahriar. The lyrics have been written by Kabir Bakul, Someshwar Oli, Mahmud Manjur, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Maruf Hasan, and Joy Shahriar.

The album includes the songs “Nei Je Proyojon”, “Kemon Kore”, “Aay Phirey”, “Sholo Anai Michhe”, “Kemon Achho Tumi”, “Tumi”, “Oshukh”, and “Bhalo Achhi”.

Speaking about the album, Bagchi reflected on his long-standing musical collaboration with Shahriar.

“I have been working with Joy for nearly a decade. He is one of my favourite lyricists and composers in Bangladesh. I am delighted that the songs we have worked on at different times are now being released together as an album. I hope our listeners will enjoy them,” he said.

Shahriar also expressed his admiration for Bagchi, describing their collaboration as a significant milestone in his musical career.

“Rupankar da is an artiste and a person who is very dear to me. Working with him has always been a joyful and enriching experience. Among those who sing in Bangla, Rupankar da stands apart because of his talent. This album is one of the most cherished achievements of my musical journey,” he said.
