Ishaan Mozumder has released a new song titled “Dhoop” on YouTube, following the success of “Patar Bashori”.

Released in July as part of Coke Studio Bangla, “Patar Bashori”, featuring Ishaan and Sunidhi Nayak, has garnered widespread attention. The song has crossed 65 million views on YouTube in less than two months.

“Dhoop” explores the pain of losing a loved one and the memories that keep their presence alive. Through the image of sunlight, the song reflects on how small, everyday moments can bring back memories of someone who is no longer around. It captures the space between absence and presence, where familiar things offer a sense of closeness to those we have lost.

Ishaan wrote, composed and performed the song, while Dippro Ahmed handled the piano and production. The musical arrangement was done by Ishaan and Dippro. Andy played the violin, while Adri Biswas mixed and mastered the track. Rohit Das directed the video.

Speaking about the release, Ishaan said that he had recorded “Dhoop” three years ago solely for his personal listening. He added that the song had evolved over time and that he and Dippro had spent a long time living with it before finally releasing it to the public.

The song is available on Ishaan’s YouTube channel, “Ishaan er Gaan”.
