Channel i’s Eid lineup features 16 dramas

Channel i has announced a special drama lineup for the upcoming Eid ul-Adha, featuring 16 productions from some of Bangladesh’s most popular playwrights and directors. These dramas will be aired from the day before Eid until the seventh day of Eid, at 7:50 pm and 9:35 pm each night.

On the day before Eid, Rezanur Rahman’s “Ekbhag Qurbani” will open the schedule at 7:50 pm, starring Shahadat Hossain, Naznin Chumki and Tanvir Azim. Later that night, Tanvir Tanmoy’s “Oditiyo” will air at 9:35 pm, featuring Nirjon Nahuel and Tista Paul.

On Eid day, Abul Hayat will direct “Bhalobeshechilam Rabeya Khatun” at 7:50 pm, based on a short story, with Zakia Bari Mamo, Rawnak Hasan, Dolly Zahur and Abul Hayat in the cast. Rubel Hasan’s “Tar Chokher Mayay” follows at 9:35 pm, starring Tawsif Mahbub and Aisha Khan.

The second day brings Salahuddin Lavlu’s “Name Name Preme Tane” at 7:50 pm, written by Brindaban Das and starring Chanchal Chowdhury, Saira Akhter Jahan, Pavel and Lavlu himself. Mir Arman Hossain’s “Oporajita” airs at 9:35 pm, with Khairul Basar and Keya Payel.

Mosharraf Karim and Heme star in Taifur Jahan Asik’s comedy “Tera Jamai” on the third day at 7:50 pm, followed by Rubel Hasan’s “Love Game” featuring Khairul Basar and Totini.

On the fourth day, Sazzad Hossain Babu’s “Notebook” stars Irfan Sajjad, Keya Payel and Khairul Basar, while Moin Khan’s “Mimangsa” features Niloy Alamgir and Heme.


Rubel Hasan returns on the fifth day with “Trip to Sydney,” again pairing Khairul Basar and Totini, followed by Maidul Rakib’s “Dalal” with Mosharraf Karim and Heme.

The sixth day features Ferdous Hasan’s “Matchmaker” with Junayed Bogdadi, Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Abdullah Rana, and Hasib Hossain Rafi’s “Obak Bhalobasa” starring Farhan and Safa Kabir.

Closing the festival, Moin Khan’s “Mitobayi” airs on the seventh day at 7:50 pm with Niloy Alamgir, Heme and Shabnam Alpona, followed by Rubaiyat Hossain’s “Jamai Shoshur” featuring Mosharraf Karim and Tasnuva Tisha.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
