Saudi expat injured in Jessore blast

A Saudi Arabia expatriate was seriously injured in a crude bomb blast at Laskarpur village in Chowgachha upazila of Jessore yesterday.

The victim is Mintu Mia, 45, son of Safiullah of the village.

Police and locals said when Mintu was feeding his cattle near the residence, he found an object wrapped with thick paper.

As soon as he lifted the thing, it went off, said Mohsiur Rahman, officer in-charge of Chowgachha Police Station.
