Radha Mandir without electricity

Sree Sree Radha Govinda Mandir at Hindu para of Jail Road in Lalmonirhat town has been without electricity as the 200-KV transformer is out of order, disrupting the Durga puja.

President of the Durga temple Shyamol Chandra Karmokar said they did not conduct worship on Sunday night due to lack of electricity.

"We are unhappy PDB didn't give priority to Durga puja," said a resident of the area.

Executive Engineer of PDB in Lalmonirhat Abu Hasnath Zaman said he could not take prompt steps due to bad weather.
