Protest continues

A two-day protest demanding punishment of those responsible for attacks on the Hindus in Nasirnagar of Brahmanbaria ended yesterday.

Hundreds of protesters under the banner of 'Sreemangal Sammilito Natya Parishad' and 'Amora Sreemangalbasi' joined the programme  at Chowmuhani intersection in Sreemangal upazila headquarters.

Arup Das of Kasipara village in Nasirnagar, who lives in Sreemangal, said my parents came under attack and lost everything they had.

"Most of my relatives are passing their days in fear of further attack", said tearful Arup.
