Mild tremor jolts country

A mild tremor jolted Dhaka and other parts of the country on Tuesday morning.

Met office sources said the earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale was felt at 8:11am.

The epicentre of the earthquake was Myanmar, 409 km east of Dhaka's earthquake observatory.

However, there was no immediate report of damage or casualty.
