Lightning kills one

A man was killed in lightning strike in Taraganj upazila of Rangpur on Sunday. The deceased was Nur Hossain, 22, son of Mozaharul Islam of Laldighi village. Kumaresh Roy, chairman of Hariakuthi Union Parishad, said a thunderbolt struck Nur Hossain while he was working at a paddy field around 2:00pm. He died on the spot.
