Eid advance bus ticket sale begins

Private bus operators have started selling advance tickets for home-goers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Tickets were put on sale from the morning and people in good numbers were seen buying tickets at different bus counters .

But rush for bus ticket is lesser than the previous years, said Salauddin Ahmed, spokesperson of Bangladesh Bus Truck Owners Association.

The Eid-u-Azha will be held in the middle of September.

Every year, around 60-70 lakh people leave the capital to celebrate Eid with near and dear ones at their village homes. A large chunk of them travel on roads.
