Dhaka concerned over missile firing at Makkah

Expressing concern at the missile attack by Houthi in Makkah, Bangladesh today declared to stand by the government and the people of Saudi Arabia to protect and secure the two holy mosques.

"Bangladesh expresses deep concern at the reported missile attack by the Houthi targeting the holiest shrine of Islam in Makkah, Saudi Arabia," reads a press release issued by the External Public Wing of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka today.

It also said that such attack on the very fundamental symbol of faith and unity of Muslim Ummah, is strongly condemned by Bangladesh.

Bangladesh also commits to stand by the government and the people of Saudi Arabia, the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
