College student missing

A college boy went missing when he went to take a bath in the Jamuna River at Kalitola point in Shariakandi upazila town yesterday. The victim is Rony Hossain, 20, a third year student of Government Shah Sultan College, and a resident of Malgram area in Bogra town. Police and locals said Rony along with his four other friends went to take a bath in the river around 1:00pm. Due to strong current in the river, Rony and his friend Shabbir Ahmed, 22, went missing. Later, locals rescued Sabbir and sent him to the upazila health complex.
