Anti-militancy rally at edu instts Sept 3

Education ministry today asked the authorities concerned to hold anti-militancy rally and anti-terror dialogues at educational institutions across the country on September 3.

The ministry came up with the order in a release published on its official website today.

During the rally and dialogues, awareness against terrorism and militancy will be focused. Students' regular class attendance has to be ensured by the concerned authorities, the directive said.

Moreover, the ministry urged the authorities to create a friendly environment by ensuring students' participation in cultural, sports and scouting related activities.

The release also requested the authorities to ensure the presence of guardians, teachers, community leaders, imams, students and media personnel during the campaign.

Education officials of all levels have been instructed to materialise the program.
