44 Nepalese sent back thru' Benapole
Forty-four arrested Nepali citizens were sent back to Nepal via India through Benapole check post yesterday.
On May 21, they came to Dhaka with a one-month tourist visa for seeking job at hotel and restaurant but they were cheated by brokers.
The Nepali nationals were netted after expiration of their visas, said Officer-in-Charge Iqbal Hossain of Benapole International Immigration Police Station.
On August 4, the law enforcers arrested the 44 from DOHS near Mirpur in Dhaka.
They have to pay Tk 200 per day as fine for illegal living in Bangladesh, said police.
