Phoenix Insurance declares 12% cash dividend

Phoenix Insurance PLC has announced a 12 percent cash dividend for the year that ended on December 31, 2025.

The announcement was made at the non-life insurance company’s 40th annual general meeting (AGM), which was held virtually recently, according to a press release.

Mohammed Shoeb, chairman of the insurer, presided over the meeting.

A large number of shareholders joined the AGM from across the country. They expressed deep satisfaction with the company’s performance and steady growth despite an extremely adverse business environment.

They approved the major agendas and issues placed before the meeting.

In 2025, the insurer earned a total premium of Tk 79.31 crore and a pre-tax profit of Tk 9.53 crore. The company’s total assets stood at Tk 233.28 crore at the end of the year, the release added.

Manzoorul Haque, vice-chairman of the insurer; MA Majid, Mohammed Haider Ali, Sadia Anjum Siddiqui, Fabiana Aziz, Javed Hosein and Iftakharul Islam, directors; and Md Rafiqur Rahman, managing director and CEO, also attended the meeting.
