NRB Bank gets two AMDs

Kimiwa Saddat has been appointed as additional managing director (AMD) and chief business officer of NRB Bank PLC, effective yesterday.

Prior to taking up the new assignment, he was serving as managing director and CEO (current charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, according to a press release.

Saddat is a banking leader with more than 23 years of diversified experience. During his distinguished career, he previously worked at HSBC Bangladesh, City Bank PLC, Eastern Bank PLC, Meghna Bank PLC, Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, and GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Ltd.

Anwar Uddin

He obtained both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance from the University of Dhaka.

Meanwhile, NRB Bank PLC has promoted Anwar Uddin to the post of additional managing director. He joined the bank as deputy managing director. He began his banking career as a probationary officer at NCC Bank Ltd in 1987. Anwar later joined Southeast Bank Limited in 1996.
