IPDC Finance logs 37.6% profit growth in H1 2026
IPDC Finance PLC posted a 37.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit after tax to Tk 20.7 crore in the first half of 2026, driven by higher net interest income, investment earnings and prudent cost management.
Despite continued domestic and global economic challenges, IPDC maintained steady business momentum through disciplined execution, robust governance and sound risk management, according to a press release.
As of June 30, 2026, the company’s loan portfolio stood at Tk 7,417.4 crore, while total deposits grew 7.9 percent from December 2025 to Tk 6,716.6 crore, reflecting continued customer confidence and a stable funding base.
Sixty percent of the company’s operating income came from core financing activities, reflecting the institution’s commitment to sustainable growth.
Additionally, the investment portfolio expanded to Tk 1,534.1 crore, supported by growth in government securities and other investments.
A large number of shareholders took part in the meeting of the institution’s board of directors in Dhaka on Tuesday, where they approved the financial results along with other major agenda items.
Ariful Islam, chairman of IPDC Finance PLC, said, “Our performance reflects the strength of IPDC’s core business model. The majority of our income continues to come from financing businesses and individuals.”

Net operating cash flow per share improved to Tk 12.02 in H1 2026 from Tk 8.12 in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Earnings per share increased to Tk 0.48 in H1 2026 from Tk 0.35 in the corresponding period of 2025.
Net asset value per share stood at Tk 17.01 as of June 30, 2026, compared with Tk 17.00 at the end of December 2025.
