Fantasy Kingdom wins Bangladesh Tourism Award

Fantasy Kingdom Complex has received the “Best Amusement Park” award at the Bangladesh Tourism Award 2026.

Anup Kumar Sarker, senior executive director for marketing of Concord Group, received the award on behalf of the group at a ceremony held on Saturday at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat presented the award crest, according to a press release.

Concord Entertainment Co Ltd, a concern of Concord Group, operates Fantasy Kingdom Complex in Ashulia, Savar.

The Bangladesh Tourism Award recognises contributions to the country’s tourism sector in areas including service, innovation, entrepreneurship, tourism promotion and visitor experience.

The event was organised by the Bangladesh Tourism Board under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism as part of the celebrations marking World Tourism Day 2026.

Officials from the ministry, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation and Tourism Police also attended the ceremony.

Speaking after receiving the award, Anup Kumar Sarker thanked the Bangladesh Tourism Board and the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism for the recognition.

“This recognition is a great honour for Concord Group and Fantasy Kingdom Complex. It reflects the dedication and hard work of our entire team and strengthens our commitment to providing quality entertainment and memorable experiences for our visitors,” he said.

He said the award would encourage the group to contribute further to the development of Bangladesh’s tourism and entertainment industry.
