Mint cultivation turns commercial in Lalmonirhat

The Spices Research Sub Centre of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) in Lalmonirhat is encouraging farmers to cultivate mint leaves on a larger scale, on a commercial basis.

The mint market is increasing day by day. Earlier, a number of farmers used to grow mint, a medicinal crop, on small patches of land.
