For defaulting Tk 25,000 to Tk 50,000 loan each, at least 12 farmers were arrested and a total 37 farmers were made accused in a case filed in this connection. But the big guns despite accusations of loan default worth thousands of crores of taka remain untouched -- far from being prosecuted.
