Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals' bus was attacked in Mumbai on Wednesday. The Mumbai police later filed FIRs against the miscreants.

"An FIR has been registered against 5-6 unknown persons under sections 143,147,149,427 of IPC for allegedly attacking the Delhi Capital IPL team parked bus," police told ANI, an Indian news agency.

As per some media reports, the miscreants were identified as members of the political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.

It was reported that around half-a-dozen activists of the MNS-Vahatuk Sena (Transport Wing) gathered near the bus a little before midnight and pasted posters of their demands on the front of the bus and were seen raising slogans.

Reports also suggest that the miscreants smashed the windows of at least one bus standing outside a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
